Our aim is to ensure that what's working well can be identified as good practice and that areas that need review can be identified.
We've included some questions which are simple yes/no and some that allow a longer more personal response, please don't include any names or setting details.

SEND reform consultation on EOTAS
The Department for Education has launched a consultation on Education Otherwise Than at School (EOTAS).
'EOTAS applies where a child or young person’s special educational provision, as set out in their EHCP, cannot appropriately be delivered in a school or further education setting.
The consultation seeks views on how EOTAS provision should be:
• Identified
• Managed
• Quality assured
These proposals have the potential to affect some of the most vulnerable children and young people, making it essential that the experiences of families help shape any future changes.
The NNPCF will be considering the proposals carefully and will be working with Parent Carer Forums to develop a response.
The consultation will run for 10 weeks and will close on 18th September 2026.

We encourage Parent Carers, to read the consultation and share their views. The lived experiences of families are vital in helping to ensure that any changes strengthen support, protect children's rights, and genuinely improve outcomes for children and young people with SEND. '

You Said We Did Annual Report
Parent Carers have shared the issues that matter to them through the Annual Parent Carer survey (2025), Have Your Say and through Gloucestershire Parent Carer Forum and our co-production partners.
Children and young people have shared feedback through a range of groups and via Future Me, the young people's local offer.
Your valuable insights and feedback are helping us to understand what and how we can do better. The ‘you said, we did’ format of this report reflects how we have used your feedback to identify key areas of improvement for the Partnership and what we have done so far.
