Delivered by Affinity Trust, this training is for those Parent Carers who would like to understand their child's challenging behaviour and safe strategies to meet their child' needs.
PBS is a research based approach that focuses on understanding triggers to behaviour, then learning safe strategies to meet that individuals requirements.
The training will cover the following areas:
- What is Positive Behaviour Support (PBS)
- What is Behaviour?
- What happens before, during and after a behaviour
- The Behaviour Escalation Cycle
- Functions for behaviour - Proactive, active and reactive strategies
Understanding and recognising behaviour whispers training is a session is deliver by Becky P-T.

​For parent carers who experience Child to Parent violence or would like to further understand their children's behaviour.
Focusing on looking at the arousal curve and RAG rating for your Child's arousal levels and behavioural indicators of where their levels of arousal are.

A Training session delivered by SENDIASS about the transition process for your child going to Secondary school.

Do you have a child who in year 5 who is on the graduated pathway/ has an EHCP?

This session with cover transition to secondary school – for both children who are on SEN support and for those with EHC Plans.
​
- What to look for when selecting a school,
- Questions to ask on an open evening
- Home to school transport as some parents might make a different selection based on whether or not transport is likely to be provided.

There will also be an opportunity for questions and answers.
